Water Taste Lab

Okay, here's the deal.......

     We are going to taste test a variety of waters on Friday June 14th while we watch the Sewer Tour 2002 video.  Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to purchase one of the following waters - and its specified quantity - and bring it to class on Friday June 14th.  Not earlier!!!!!!

     If you purchase the water, you will receive 10 points extra credit

    IF YOU SAY ANYTHING IN CLASS ABOUT THIS EXTRA CREDIT ASSIGNMENT, YOU AND THE CLASS WILL RECEIVE NO EXTRA CREDIT AND THE DEAL IS OFF.  THIS IS AN INTERNET EXTRA CREDIT ASSIGNMENT ONLY.

    So that there is no duplicate purchases of supplies, please read the following list of waters and their respective quantities and then go to the guestbook and write the following:  (the following student name is for example purposes only)

                  Period 3  Cameron Denning   Sparkletts 1 gallon.

     Obviously, you put your own name there, unless you are Cameron.  But you must go to the guestbook and check to see which waters are already "taken" from your period and then sign your own period and name.  You will only receive extra credit if you have signed in the guestbook.

    FAQs:

     1.  What if my computer doesn't let me sign the guestbook? 

     Write down your period and water on a small piece of paper and bring it with you to class one day and give it to me very discreetly.

     2.  What if all of the waters are taken from my period?

     Once you have determined that all of the waters have been taken, then you can duplicate one of the waters from the list.

     3.  Where can I get these waters?

     I went over to Albertsons - next to the high school - and looked at all of these waters.  The amounts I have given to you basically will cost the same.  All are under $2 I think.

List of Waters:  You must bring in AT LEAST the amount listed - you can bring more, but no more extra credit will be given.

Distilled (any brand) 1 gallon

Palomar Mountain 1 gallon

Albertsons 1 gallon

Crystal Geyser 1 gallon

Arrowhead 1 gallon

Dannon 1.5 Liters

Aquafina 1.5 liters

Deja Blue 1.5 liters

Smart water 1.5 liters

Hawaii H2O  1.5 liters

Ice age  1.5 liters

Evian 1.5 liters

Dasani 1.5 liters

Fiji 1.5 liters

Canada's Choice 1.5 liters
